Shannon Shorr is a 21 year old professional poker player and former University of Alabama Civil Engineering student. He grew up in Birmingham, Alabama where he graduated from Shades Valley High School, where he was a standout prep baseball player. From there he attended the University of Alabama for 2.5 years before withdrawing to pursue a career as a professional poker player. Tuscaloosa, Alabama is still where Shannon calls home, but he has been on the road for the majority of the year playing live tournaments.
